Volunteer Project with Children

This past weekend, I volunteered at the Starlight Foundation Walk and Run for Smiles, a fundraiser for sick kids and their families in BC.
At the walk, I facilitated an art project in which kids made a giant tree out of recycled materials. It was a lot of fun for me watching how inventive and naturally artistic children are. The photos above don't quite do it justice, but the colours and the shapes they used gave me some great inspiration for my own art. I don't spend a lot of time around kids, but I amazed by their humour and honesty. I'd love to do this again!
