All humans are self-obsessed. It's just how we are. If we weren't, we would never survive. All living things are self-obsessed, or at least obsessed with their very own survival. Or obsessed with passing on their genes in the shape of offspring. How obnoxious is that? What do we know about genetics? Maybe we don't have the best DNA in the world. But the point is, we all think we do.
So here is my testament to my very own self-obsession: self portrait #2673. At least, I think it has to be around that number. Looking back, it seems I am consumed with the idea of portraying myself. Why? I don't know. At least I stay still.

Mangoes are lovely and sweet. In India, the mango shape is used to create the paisley pattern. I don't know if this is true of all paisley. Mangoes are also reknowned in India for helping with women's fertility problems. Maybe it has something to do with the shape of the fruit. It does look like a womb.
