Breastfeeding

This was for an issue of Briarpatch magazine. The author discussed the idea that though breastfeeding is admired by the general public and recommended by those in the medical profession, there are still economic and practical difficulties faced by breastfeeding women. There is something very hypocritical about the way society puts breastfeeding on a pedestal- it has an almost magical feminine power- but fails to support mothers who want to breastfeed.
